Privacy Policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This page covers ypnos.app and its sub-domains. Ypnos is a product in development: the only personal data we collect today is the email address you give us to be told when it launches.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Aknoun Mehdi Consulting, which publishes Ypnos (company details in the Legal Notice). Write to contact@ypnos.app for anything below.
What we collect, and why
- Waitlist. Your email address, the page you signed up from and the date. Purpose: to tell you when Ypnos launches and to offer early subscribers a discount. Legal basis: your consent, given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Audience statistics. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without following you across sites or storing your IP address. It cannot identify you.
- Server logs. Our host keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) to run and secure the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We set no cookies, show no ads and do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Who processes it
- Vercel Inc. hosts the site and runs the analytics.
- Google LLC stores the waitlist in a private Google Sheet that only the Ypnos team can open.
Both are based in the United States and process data under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on the waitlist until the launch announcement, or until you ask us to remove it. If the project is dropped, the list is deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email contact@ypnos.app and we will answer within one month. If you think we mishandled your data you can also complain to your data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.
Health and wellness data
The Ypnos app is not released yet, and this site collects no health data. Once the band and app ship, they will process data about your sleep, heart rate and activity. That is health data, which the GDPR treats as especially sensitive: we will ask for your explicit consent before collecting it, say exactly what is stored and where, and let you export or delete it. This policy will be updated before launch. Ypnos is a wellness product, not a medical device.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes with it.
